The sequence that creeps into 'Church Theme' on Wavelength always gets me - brilliant!
Simple but brilliant!

I bought it this time around due to the fact that I didn't already own it. Amazon UK had it wrongly listed as 45 minutes long - I sent it back to them twice as it was only 27 minutes long on the DVD they sent me, but it looks like that that is actually the running time. I quite like it, pity it's le...

Everything about this album just shouts out 'classic' to me.
I love the ARP Pro Soloist synth that was used (Genesis also used it around that period).
My only complaint is that the main track it'self is too short!

I played Encore this weekend along with Rubycon and Phaedra - fantastic collection of albums! I enjoyed Encore so much that I searched out a copy of the Bootleg Box Set Vol 1 from AmazonUK (second hand) for £25!!! I can't wait for it to arrive - I got an email this morning to say that it has been p...

I must admit that I am quite fond of it - even if it is a bit different!

Does anybody else think that the song section of the first track is very like Barclay James Harvest?

Greeen Desert was the first TD album I bought back in the early 90's, then I bought White Eagle and it all started from there for me!
I love the main track, it means so much to me, I bought it at a certain time in my life that has many good memories for me.

Top five's still coming thick and fast. Here's one the for the train spotters amongst us (lists and numbers can be interesting, or pointless, depending on your point of view). It can also be 'mood dependant'. That's mood, not moog!!!! Although that might also be applicable. 1) Force Majeure 2) Ruby...

Me - my story....

I'm 36 years old, I grew up in the 70's/80's in a house that pumped out prog rock 24/7 and I don't regret a single moment! Genesis, Yes and Floyd became my favourites which remain in my heart till today - but...... I have always been aware of TD, dad was a big fan, like the other prog bands I mentio...

I have a bootleg of Antarktis, just a download onto CDR.
It is stunning, what a great concert, and what a shame that it's only just over an hours worth of the gig.
Is the full show available somewhere under a different name?
Can anybody help me out?

This is difficult, but here goes:

1. Force Majeure
2. Stratosfear
3. Poland
4. Logos
5. Wavelength (Church Theme just gets me every time when the sequence comes in - perfect!)

This album is stunning! If I was to introduce a friend/colleague to Tangerine Dream then either Logos or Poland would be the discs to give them. Yes they are lengthy and progressive, but they are also very accessible (I think). The voice that repeats over and over during one of the sections in the f...
