Hi, I don't mind and appreciate TD on iTunes ... it just scares me that iTunes is not doing enough to accredit and appreciate music that is a bit more serious than all the pop music out there ... that said ... I never thought of EM as that great ... never thought of it as bad ... but then, I heard P...

Hi, Not sure about you guys, but I can easily close my eyes and trip through 3 hours of this stuff and not have to worry about anything ... just give me the music ... I don't need a shiny gold 20 ft dongalong, or some fancy lights to tell me that the music is good ... If I had to take a look at Ramp...

Hi,

So, I was born in the little planet named Plateus and its only redeeming factor is the sign "Joe's Cafe" in it ... and who gives a cahoot?

Hi,

Would be nice to catch you around here a little ... but setting things up in a place like Portland is ridiculous and Tangerine Dream will sound like an out of tune and barely functional organ in a circus!

This town is famous for making bands that have keyboards sound like total caca!

Hi, Not sure that Edgar, or even Dave Brock, would actually do this ... not because of care and respect for each other, but more than likely for the completely different audiences they attract. Nowadays, TD brings in a more "concert going" crowd than Hawkwind would, and I'm not sure that t...

Re: Chris Franke's role in the 80s

Browsing through some of the old threads, I came across epsilon 75’s interesting post (‘Tangerine Dream Tour Year 1986’ in ‘Performances’) that Chris Franke did not do the sequencing on Logos, Thief and Poland. If the sequencing on these albums is not Chris's work, then the sequencing on the 1980, ...

Hi, 220 Volt Live is awesome ... Live in America ... because I was there at the Greek Theater and remember the trees on fire! Poland and Logos are both really good ... but the 1st one is still the best moment ... at a time when many synthesizers were difficult to control these guys went out and blew...

Hi, "There are far worse things ... awaiting man ... than death!" Dracula (Bela Lugosi) It took me over 30 years to understand that line ... but in Madison, WI I got a first taste of it and the horror ... the horror ... the horror ... the week of the Kent State shooting, the National Guard...

Hi, Ok ... point well taken ... I would think ... that a person has to make that commitment to themselves and their art ... and if they have INSIDE them enough care, love, respect AND understanding to do so ... they WILL, won't they? Just like you and I ... to commit to a diet is not gonna make it ....

Hi, Loved it ... FZ is one of my favorites and just this past week I picked up Zappa plays Zappa ... and I have to tell you that .... wow ... unreal ... Edgar's longstanding peaceful vegetarianism is conducive for optimum Karma. Gandhi would concur. Ohhh my gawd .... like vegetarianism has anything to do with creativity ... or kharma has anything to do with art ... or music ... specially when so much of it is created off the conflicting emotions on...

Hi, What goes around will come around ... if some one is ripping off TD ... well ... that's like saying that thye guy flying his big balls ... does not owe TD anything ... well, there are many other artists he took for a ride too .... and eventually he's gonna pay for it! But ... in the end ... it's...
