I listened to Finnegans Wake now several times and it's definitely a classic! Never heard such good music since a long time. If music can make my flesh creep it definitely has something to say.
A top series the Sonic Poem series! 10/10

The 'Island of the Fay' is an excellent album just as good as the 'Endless Season', but different concerning the musical colours. The mysterious story of Edgar Allan Poe is obviously demanding that musical change. My favourite tracks are 'Marmontel Riding On A Clef' (bombastic!), 'Fay Bewitching The...

But it's really simple what Edgar tries to point out here: Most people have no idea at all in what kind of an universe they live. I remember I once asked my grandmother out of curiosity what she thought stars are, and she replied they're cold stones hanging in the sky around the Earth. I tried to e...

After 2 times listening I am not so impressed as I hoped. As with the other 4 albums, it all sounds very nice and beautifull. But I miss the sequences. It all flows through my speakersm but it never smashes me through the walls. Until now it all sounds in my ears as new age. But maybe after some mo...

That's why TQ is with TD - Edgar Froese always knows well which musician he prefers being in his band. TQ learned a lot from TD in recent years and made good progress, but the album 'Natatorium' i.e. is more or less a good copy of TD's music, but I'm sure PPM will find their own style more and more....
