Why did Schmoelling quit?

Does anyone know the exact reason behind Schmoelling leaving TD in 1985?

I have Summers' soundtrack to the film Down And Out In Beverly Hills from 1986, and it's absolutely horrible.

I haven't heard much of his other stuff though.

There is a picture of Summers and Edgar in the Mulitmedia section of this site. Summers didn't exactly seem happy on the picture, and there is this "distance" between the two. No communication. Check it yourself.

The picture from 1988 is in the 1990-2000 section, for some reason.

OK, thanks.

I think this shows that Thorsten is a right member for TD. He hasn't been in the band for long, but is already capable of writing great music with many TD-trademarks.

A Madcap question...

What's the name of the track which starts at 35 minutes on the Madcap's Flaming Promo?

was it written by Edgar or Thorsten?

This is a brilliant track IMO, including all the magic of TD, with thought-provoking lyrics/vocals perfectly incorporated.

Thanks!

I think the lyrics fit the tune quite well. It's one of my favorite TD tracks.

I wondered if anyone has got a link to the lyrics from the Shy People-track "The Harbor"?

Well, you shouldn't jump off! :D

Several interesting things in Haslinger's film music - Sleeper Cell, The Girl Next Door (with some Risky Business quotes), Blue Crush, Crazy/Beautiful, Cheaters, Pointman (more RB quotes...)

Paul Haslinger's "Underworld"

What do you think of this music?

I saw the film some days ago - it really wasn't my kind of movie, Blade, Dark City, The Crow and Matrix all into one.

I didn't enjoy the music either, too strange and goth-industrial for my taste. No themes or melodies.

I got Tango And Cash in the mail yesterday. I think it's great, everyone into modern TD would probably like this release!
