Music before the TD Performances

Post by la sagesse du destin »

Can you remember the music that we listen before the TD shows during the exciting waiting ?
I only remember
Paris 1981: Beethoven: Symphony n°5
Loreley 2008: Mike Oldfield : Ommadawn
London 2008: Brian Ferry and Roxy Music (Compilation)
Izu Japan 2009: Anie Lennox (Compilation)

Tour 1997: TD:Ambient Monkeys

Do you remember others musics ?

SBE 05: Aqua 2005?
Tempodrom: Enya and Jon Anderson/Yes
Northeim and Berlin: The Beatles 'best of' compilation.
Edinburgh: Brian Ferry and Roxy Music (Compilation) or was that Bob Dylan?

As for Loreley, I think they also played Tubular Bells?

I also have a bootleg with some alleged pre-concert music for the 2001 Warsaw gig. It doesn't sound like TD.
When it's dark enough, you can see the stars.

Very interesting,Jacob.

For the Loreley I think we are together right.Tubullar bells and Ommadawn were played.I remember too one track of King Crimson before the KS show.In the end of the bonus of the DVD Loreley,we listen Ommadawn.

I hear she's a very nice person and her other half is a right pain to live with.

Isn't sitting on the fence painful?

the reason I remember what was played was that in 86 my girlfriend was desperately making sure the baroque music that was playing would't be "it" for the night.

I didn't know they had collaborated!!! Just kidding! I remember the Enya music (we're from the same county here in Ireland).

I think the pre-1990 tour music was a band called Spy Spy or something? It was listed for sure in one of the Tangible Dream newsletters of old...
