I think Jerome may have some of that genius DNA.... 8)

Here's me trying to play your sentiments down a little------

I've just ordered MFD from Voiceprint and will almost certainly order the twin pack from Eastgate.

I imagined that I was lucky enough to get a signed copy, opening it and looking at the signatures.

Guess which signature I'd treasure with tons of sincere thanks for some amazing work over the years?

Edgar a genius? In his ways (plural) I'd now say YES!!!!!

Begs the question, which is the rarest band member signature?

Already said sir!

Edgar has steered the TD boat through some very uncharted waters in decades gone past and it's to this that we all owe our undying thanks.

The definition of "genius", is somebody who has great or rare natural ability/skill, so Edgar can absolutely be described as a genius. As far as answering this question goes, it's irrelevant to compare him to Mozart, or Beethoven.

genius can be defined by its very self

Edgar is a polymath : art, sculpture, music....writing

in the music he must be able to visualise compositions in multiplicity, ie many threads, many ideas : which is a trait of genius

we are all intelligent transient beings : but a genius is one who steps up and into the light and becomes part of time and history

Edgar Froese is what I would call a genius, but he is also a human.

I am just happy from my own personal journey of life with its highs & lows that we all experience ,to be grateful to live in this particular period of time in which I was/am lucky enough to have discovered (it discovered me? being cosmic here  ) Edgar/TD's sublime musical creations. It has (for 30 plus years for me) remained the soundtrack to my life and will continue to do so. I would like to think that in a hundred years time from now (when all the grizzlies are long since extinct! and even the TD Barmy Army have become one with the dalinium cosmos,BM & me still trying to find ways of getting that TOWEL off Colin  :P ) that Edgar's contibution to musical history is beyond doubt and rightly granted the "Genius" status. He is the Mozart of "our" time (IMHO) so we're here, we're now let us continue to live this moment, we are living in history itself :D
