fabphill wrote:Hi td fans, pause were very short between the tracks played but we had a 20mn intermission after, around, a big hour of the show. So it was a 2 parts show, with no encore, sadly. Very nice light show. Having said that, it was a good 2h30 show, including the intermission.
No encores...This is strange:( . Maybe you should applaud more ;) .Just kidding. Thanks for track listing, very nice list. Too bad sound wasn't perfect (for TD music it has to be perfect!). Band should prepare that sound more careful. Two years ago several people left Budapest show because of bad sound-distortion.

I don't remember those.

Also, I think they played The Midnight Trail?

And this is a report of the show in the french newspaper "Le Parisien" with some nice photos for those who do not understand french:

According to the journalist, the guitarist Bernhard Beibl will not attend the whole tour.
He also says that Edgar, when he thanked the audience, told that he was not in a state to do an encore.
Cheers Philippe.

I'm sorry, but I think TD played Grind and not Search, but of course, maybe I'm mistaken. Anyway, the article in Le Parisien is one of the worst I read about Tangerine Dream. If you want a real good article, you have to get the new Trax magazine, #173, out since May 22nd. It's much better than the other.

I'm sure as la force du courage.It was grind;
About the track of GTA5, it was, in my opinion not Downton Los Santos, but Burning The bad Seal.

I thought initially too to at the Story of a brave but now I think, it was The Midnight Trail.

Valley of the Kings, I don't remember.

In my memory I remember too that Varsaw in the sun and logos 2011 were played.

An excerpt of Alchemy of the Heart was played or was it a Dream?

Charles

Yes, I think it was Grind (from Sorcerer)...
The track from GTA 5 : you could be right, Charles !
Okay for "The Midnight Trail" (and not "Story of the Brave").
Maybe that was not "Valley of the Kings", but another track from the same album ? I have that feeling...
Now I think I remember "Warsaw in the Sun", but I don't remember Logos or "Alchemy of the Heart"...

I'm sure they played
Odd welcome,
Sphinx lightning (almost entirely),
Horizon,
Song of the whale,
White eagle,
Oriental haze (with a wonderful sax solo by Linda),
Grind,
Sorcerer Theme.

As La sagesse du destin, I think they also played Warsaw in the sun and perhaps a little bit of Logos 2011.
But except for Odd Welcome, I forgot the order of all the other titles!

And I trust you for the rest, TDludo and La sagesse du destin. ;-)

I've just take a look at Jacob Pertou's blog, there are the setlists of Nijmegen and London: http://tangerinedream.pertou.dk/#home
Now we can compare with our memories :-)

Thank you very much for this link, la force du courage. On this basis (the two setlists and our memory), i would tend to think that we had this in Paris (in fact, the same two parts as in London and Nijmegen, without encores):

First part:
Odd Welcome
Burning the Bad Seal
The Midnight Trail
Sorcerer Theme
Twilight in Abidjan
Hermaphrodite
Sleeping Watches Snoring in Silence
Song of the Whale, Part One: From Dusk
Horizon (Warsaw Gate Mix)
Sphinx Lightning

Second part:
Josephine the Mouse Singer
Logos (Extract)
Alchemy of the Heart
Grind
Warsaw in the Sun
Oriental Haze
Three Bikes in the Sky
Das Mädchen auf der Treppe
Marmontel Riding on a Clef
Trauma

What do you think?

I think we didn't have "Twilight in Abidjan"...
I really can't remember that one and nobody mentioned it for this gig. But I agree for all the others !
