Klaus Schulze (Made in Germany Reissues)

Just a note. I received my newly released 2 Disc set of 'Cyborg' in the mail today. It appears to be the 'Revisited Records' 2 Disc set with a new white bar code label sticker stuck over the original bar code that has the 'Made in Germany' record label logo. Price point is very good, only $17 US Dol...

Re: Best 10 Post 1980s albums - Live or Studio

Thanks Guys. I will take a look at the various suggestions, and see which ones are going to work out best, and buy a few of them later this year. I'm going to grab some of the missing soundtracks before I move into this time period. So my next purchases are Miracle Mile, The Park is Mine, Wavelength...

Best 10 Post 1980s albums - Live or Studio

Any recommendations on the best 10 albums to pick up from about 1990 onward

There are so many. So some guidance would be helpful. I enjoy much of the Pink, Virgin, and Blue Years material, but got sidetracked after that.

Thanks

Early Tangerine Dream Vinyl Pressings Questions

In a few weeks for my 45th birthday, I am going to treat myself to a new turntable/record deck. The last time I had a turntable (and most of my vinyl) was 24 years ago. Back in the mid to late 80s a good friend played me many of the the Tangerine Dream albums, and Edgar Froese solo albums on vinyl. ...

Canyon Dreams..Differences?

I'm looking at picking up Canyon Dreams. Are there any significant differences between the Miramar CD and the TDI reissue. I know about the bonus track by Jerome. Otherwise is the music the same, or has it been remixed/re-recorded/remastered for the the TDI release. The same question applies to Oasi...

Comparison

I have to admit to going to the Tiergarten in Berlin, and sticking Tiergarten on my old portable CD player to listen to while I was there. :-) I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done that :-) I no longer have the earlier CD version to do the comparison, I doubt I would see much significant differ...

Entry Point

I will end up having to buy this as I always end up giving away my copies of the CD to a friends and relatives as an approachable Gateway to exploring Tangerine Dream.

This was also the first Tangerine Dream album I was exposed to so it does have a soft spot for me.

25 Years

I'm looking forward to this immensely despite the errors, because I don't own any of the albums on any format. One of my friends played them too me about 25 years ago as a teenager, and I somehow never got around to buying them through my many musical journeys. Hopefully Virgin sort out their errors...
