For me Klaus Schulze has been at the top of his game recently. I absolutely love the collaborations with Lisa Gerrard and the quality of the recording on the Rheingold DVD just blew me away. I rarely listen to any of the recent TD output I'm afraid......I just don't get the goose bumps that I used t...

The is definitely something primal and 'of the earth' about Ricochet. It's in my list of all time fav albums by any artist. It's the one album that I can whack on at ear splitting volume and be transported way out there lol. Blows 90% of recent TD material out of the water IMHO. Other albums that co...

Heard it earlier advertising the show. I actually think it's the track 8:07 from the Global Communication album 76-14.

Admittedly the track does sound awfully like LOART.

Here's a sample CLICK

If it isn't available as lossless either flac or aac then there isn't much point in having it IMHO. I just don't get why more bands don't put digital downloads up in higher quality. I refuse to pay for not good sound quality.

Rant over lol.

I personally believe that if more bands made their music available as High Quality Flac downloads then more people will buy them. I for example buy quite a few from various sources including the Coil/Throbbing Gristle web store. At the other extreme I will neither pay for nor download free copies of...

I had the most surreal journey back from an orb gig with a judges daughter and a few other mateys back in the 90's. It took us the better part of two days, some gin, a bag of carrots and three taxi's to travel about 10 miles! To say that my companions were chemically altered would be understatement ...

The orbs first few albums were seminal and had amazing use of samples. I've seen them 7 or 8 times now and the early shows were definitely a big nod to Tangerine Dream when they were forward thinking and good. Later Orb stuff has been a bit stale but I'd be interested in this collaboration. BLUE ROO...

Oooh I'm a bit spooked out here. I typed in 'play back setup' and the post reads plays fantastically! Is the forum editing my typing?

I just checked and if you type play and back as one word the forum changes them.....how weird.

What is your plays fantastically setup Chris. For the most part these sound compressed and tinny here and thats using a valve driven hifi not known for it's upfront brashness lol.
