Re: Edgar and TD - the Force Majeure autobiography

Had the book for a while now and had to say how much I've enjoyed it. It's beautifully written and shows that Edgar wasn't just a talented musician. The way he describes all of the happenings in the book has added lots of colour to many of the famed incidents the band were involved in. I now feel th...

Re: rest in peace Edgar

Utterly devastated to hear of Edgar's passing yesterday but have found some solace today in the music he left with us. Like so many others, my life has been changed and enriched by Edgar over the years. Without forcing any doctrine or preaching any sermon he made me look at the World in a new and in...

Just passing through...

...thought it might be nice to congratulate TD on a great new release. Been loving it since it arrived. What a great addition Ulrich Schnauss has been. Can't wait for the next full band release.

Re: Shephers Bush Empire - Friday 23rd May

Loved the show last night. Great to meet the whole band after the show. Can't be easy playing a very demanding show and then having to meet n' greet afterwards. I hate to think that this will be the last time I'll ever get to see TD but if it is then it was a great finish. My sincere thanks to every...

Re: The Castle

... I would go as far as to say that "The Apparently Lunatic Hierarchy" is one of the band's finest compositions in their entire career... I have to say when I read that I thought "Well, Col that's a big claim to make," but I think I listened to it with my mouth open thoughout -...

Re: The Castle

Just popped by to say how much I've been enjoying The Castle since it was delivered a couple of days back. Very atmospheric. Kept thinking how great this would sound in concert. Good work TD. Nice to hear from you Chris. Miss your input here. Played the Castle twice, very interesting and atmospheri...

Got to watch the Admiralspalast DVD today. Needless to say I thought it was great. Brilliant set list and show. Nice visuals too. Not sure if it's the best yet but it's up there with the best. I'm not good at making these sort of value judgments. Can you compare art anyway?

I first saw TD back in 1980 and experienced what can only be called a paradigm shift in my feelings towards music. Before the show I was majorly into Heavy Metal but after the show it all became just male posturing and rather bad sexual innuendo. Since then I've been fortunate to see TD pretty consi...

Been listening to the CD's over the last few days and been loving them. Nice to hear TD firing on all cylinders and also nice to hear some old favorites with a new coat of paint. Not seen the DVD yet but hopefully I will at some point over the weekend.

Top marks.

Yippee!!!

Big parcel from Germany.

Currently listening to Cruise To Destiny. Sounds brilliant. Some of my fave tracks, especially the ones from Lily On The Beach, a much underrated album IMO.

Big thanks to TD.
