To me, any line-up which may contain Baumann, Schmoelling or Jerome is more Tangerine Dream than Q/Schnauss alone.
Maybe it was Edgar's last wish and he wanted Baumann to finalize TD. He never would have asked CF to do this, so PB is the right person.

Virgin first pressings (UK or Germany) from the 70s got the best sound.
Same for the OHR original pressings (all reissues, even Japanese were cut from 2nd or 3rd generation copies).
Edgar Froese original BRAIN (green label) are also great.

I am trying to make an order on the TD Shop, but it's not working.

Not Dead, yet.
King Crimson released several DVD-Audio with 5.1 the last years. And there are several others.
But TD on BluRay Audio would be welcome, too.
