By the way, Encore sounds poo whatever the source it's played on (not the music, the production) and the first CD issue just shows this up. The 70 - 80 box set had lots of treble boost on the tracks too.

But only one of you has a turntable worthy of the name and it's certainly not me these days..... Get real you lot - 30x30 prints of the old sleeves yes. FLAC audio downloads of the music please!!!!!! I want to hear it the way Edgar does on the master file, not some distorted "nice" soundin...

Still love it, despite its simplicity. That's what gives it its charm - and no tweaking with it for me, the original is fine for me thanks
