For me it's definitely Edgar Froese! He's the pioneer, the father of invention! He's the Mastermind behind this extraordinary music, there would be no JS, no PB, no CF, no JF etc. without him and his invention of electronic dream music. EF's solo stuff is a testimony of his spirituality - magical c...

My holiday recommandations don't differ very much from the last ones:

1. Summer In Nagasaki
2. Bells Of Accra
3. Cyberjam Collection
4. Dalinetopia
5. Orange Light Years
6. Dante DVD
7. Astoria DVD

This is going to be a perfect holiday on the Spanish coast!!

New track from Shiver me timbers on Jeromes Myspace Jukebox. Cheers Tim, nothing really new if you've heard the PCM ep (altough there seems to have been some subtle remixing going on I think). Nice to see a comment from Jerome though :) QUITE A SMALL NEWS UPDATE Current mood: nostalgic Category: Mu...

Looks like my judgement was seriously flawed overall. Inferno proved such a difficult listen that I opted to skip Purgatorio (but still bought all other TD releases, no loss of faith). After a while I thought I'd give the trilogy another chance and bought Paradiso based upon the brief pre-release s...

Probably all mentioned maybe TQ as had a big influence on EF I think it's the other way round: EF or the TD project has definitely a big influence on TQ!! If you listen to TQs older material on MySpace or his old band called "Minory" (MySpace, too) you would easily recognise that TQ was d...

What an honour for both - W. Friedkin and EF - to meet each other again at this stage of age and experience and being aware of what they have achieved in their lifes. Actually Mr. Friedkin could have equally given EF an award, too, for his lifetime achievement in music...don't you think so??

If you listen to baroque music for example, you'll often find musical patterns being reused, even one composer using the patterns of another composer. But this "recycling" is not the point - I think it's all about whether the piece of musical work makes sense by itself. When listening to ...

the final section of track 7 is so cinematic and potent (when one knows the theme)....that BM feels that musically this series may well be Edgars real masterpiece, (that dante very nearly attained).....maybe its the subject matter, perhaps its how we approach the historic and true nature of the nag...

Hi LC! I still have yet to hear it, but I like what I read. you must be the most devoted EF fan around here  Hi Pertou, I don't think that I'm the only one. I just love what I hear that's all. Music is an extraordinary expression of thinking and feeling and I like what Edgar thinks and feels ...
