Heard some time back that William Shatner was putting an album together. I never imagined EF would be involved. I was under the impression it was going to be an all Metal affair. Quite a list of talent involved with this album. The only thing that worries me is Shatner's vocals. His last album call...

The highlight by far, for me on this album is 'The Model'. It's exactly what a good cover version should be, i.e. a new arrangement. Absolutely fabulous. I also really like 'Wicked Game', 'Everybody Hurts', and 'Precious'. These are my top tracks. I hope to see Chapter 2 or Chapter 3, but this reall...

I'll be going to Silverstone on Saturday to see the Birkett Six Hour Relay race, which will be held on the Silverstone Bridge Grand Prix circuit. It consists of 60 teams which each has between four and six cars. The first car starts the race, and after a period of about 20 minutes, the team manager ...

I think that sax is o.k. in it's place and in moderation, thoough I'm not keen.

Agree with the start of this thread, that there is too much sax in TD music.

The first TD that I heard was the album Force Majeure (this was about 1980-'81), and the first album I bought was Rubycon.

Just got back from a great weekend at Silverstone watching the Britcar 24 hour race. It's an endurance race with an entry of 60 cars which are split into four classes. The cars include things like Moselers, Porsches, Ferraris, Lotus, Marcos and Aquilla, through the sports and GT's including a Morgan...

BTW, Why compare two albums ???
I think it's time to stop comparing albums, it has (is) imo no(n)sense.

Only fair discussion is to tell why one likes a piece of music.

Peter.
Just for a bit of fun. It's not obligatory to take part.

I would recommend buying "The Electronic Magic of Tangerine dream" instead.... Thanks very much Multivit72. Good advice. By the way, I knew a girl from Freiburg once. She was studying at Hull in the U.K. in the early '80's. I was visiting a friend of mine (Sam, also a TD nut) who was also...

Thank you very much Cyclone. The 'Voices on the Net' links are very useful. Cheers. So it appears that these were first released on the 'Anthology Decades' album in 2008, but are actually tracks from a previous time, though previously un-released. What's the general concensus on the 'Anthology Decad...
