He looks quite happy with head swaying gently. Maybe light brown slightly curly shortish hair but hard to be sure in the subdued lighting. He certainly seems to be aware that the camera is on him though !

What TD can you now buy in the shops ?

I was looking in the Oxford Street HMV and Virgin recently and was very disappointed with the amount of TD albums available. Not so long ago you could buy pretty much everything from Electronic Meditation through to the latest release including all the film soundtracks . But now your'e lucky if thei...

How do you compare one album / track with another

I was looking at last years poll which I know doesn't really prove anything due to the many vagaries of voting but I am wondering how do people compare TD albums ? If you compare two albums one of them may contain 50% of music you love and 50% music you are not so keen on which would give the album ...

What is a typical Tangerine Dream Track ?

Someone, who was unfamiliar with TD's music asked me to play them a "typical track". I dont know what to play them ! Ive ruled out anything with vocals as I dont think that would be typical ! Or perhaps it would be in the last few years with the Dante Trilogy and MFD. I think ive also rule...

Tangerine Dream plus what else ?

It has always interested me what other music TD fans listen to. Some regular contributors to this forum seem to have an incedible knowledge of Elecronic Music but I am wondering if there is anyone out there with similar tastes to me. For me TD are the pinnacle (no pun intended) of Electronic Music a...

Hi Mr C. I hope your bearing up ok at the moment Midwinter Night is my favourite track on TOTT so I think we're approaching it from completely different standpoints. I take your point about cheesy but I in fact like cheese so when TD do a slightly cheesy track it still seems to have an element of in...

Worst TD tracks

Following on from the previous discussions about TD albums we dont care too much for I thought it would be fun to name the TD track we hate the most

For me I hate Funky Atlanta and Rising Haul in Silence equally.

How about the rest of you !

Gave it another listen last night and still find Cherry Blossom the more appealing ballad than Butterflies. Tonight I will ask my wife to adjudicate ! She always thinks Edgar rips off other artists tunes and converts them to electronic music. Apparantly "Talking to Maddox" is the same tune...

Romance 76 was available from my local library which I borrowed together with Alpha Centauri. They were both in pristine condition as I was probably the only person to ever borrow them ! They were filed under "other" probably because they didnt have a clue what they sounded like.
