Re: The News About Edgar

Just read the newsletter and I am totally shocked. I really can´t believe this truth. One of my musical heroes for more than 30 years has gone forever? No, that can´t be true :-( Thank you so much, Edgar, for all the countless hours of travelling in a fantasy world with your wonderful music. Thank y...

I like the piece since I listened to it first time 9 years ago although there is the hiss sound.

But was there ever an official explanation why this recording-failure could go onto CD?

Been meaning to ask for a while if one of the kind German speakers on here, or any other kind person, would give me a translation of the spoken section that commences at 18 minutes and O seconds precisely  on the title track. @har: Did you meanwhile get a translation of the german spoken text...

After the first 3 or 4 listenings to WIH I nearly was disappointed because I found the piece a bit boring... But as a TD-listener for many years I know what that means... It needs more spins, but then sometime I´ll find the entry, in an unconscious way... And yesterday it made "click" in m...

It´amazing... "Flame" is turning constantly in my player! I guess I´ve listened to it since yesterday about 30 times and I like it more and more! "Lord Nelson" is one of the best short TD-songs ever! And the rather vintage sound of "Peddington at 5" and "Morning st...

As I said above, wonderful songs again.

And I like the new ones as much as the re-recordings of the old ones.

But my little suggestion: I would like to hear a re-recording of "Dolphin Dance", instead of twice "Ride on the ray" (we had it already on TD play TD). :D

Downloaded the concert yesterday and can´t stop listening!! Absolutely great! The most emotional moment for me is the bridge from the end of fantastic Leviathan to Tangram set one (wisdom and tragedy)!!!! New and old stuff fit perfectly together!! Thank you TD for the music and for the very fair pri...

Normally I am a bit doubtfully about cover versions but "tommorow never knows" is great!!

As I am also a Beatles fan I feel a bit like a "keeper of the grail" but in this case I am pleased....

Track two reminds me of whale music... Hm, well. not a bad idea, in the middle there are in fact some sounds similar to whale noise... :D I´m listening to SLFT since yesterday and I´m wondering why I do like it now so much. My idea: when I got the CD at first it was in the summer time in 200...

Re: The Seven Letters From Tibet

I wrote a review of Seven Letters of Tibet on Pertou's old website. I thought I'd repost it here since that site will soon disappear. After 7 years of non-listening to SLFT I decided to give that music another chance... but only after I have read the very good recension of rattymouse!!! Thank you v...

Wow, you are really a lucky man!!

(a little compensation for me: I was born around the days when the Beatles recorded the Sgt. Pepper-album... )
