As with many music ideas from TD, the vocal treatments on Cyclone were ground-breaking. At first I was shocked, having this fixed idea of what TD was all about. (I've learned to ignore those biases since then). The vocal treatment is sort of hard to pin down. Is it an electronic vocoding technique, ...

I definitely "found" TD again after Jeanne D'Arc. To me that put the "dream" back into TD. As far as the old music being somehow more intense because of me being young, I don't necessarily agree. After all the genre and musicians too were young and intense. Throwing away all your...

I received a blog from TQ at myspace yesterday. He is enjoying a well deserved hiatus over the holidays. IMO Edgar is so prolific and seems like such a work hound that anyone within reach of him will have a lot of catching-up to do. I doubt there are very many that can match him in work habits. All ...

The vocals probably provided by the Virsyn Cantor software. I've noticed on stage that he uses another Virsyn software synthesiser - so my bet is the vocals are provided by Cantor.  A good guess. The Virsyn Matrix software is powerful. It is worth noting as well that the little Korg Ra...

I like 1x1 very much, track 1 is stunning love the rest also, except no so keen on the version of Loved by the sun Wow, not me. I love that track. One of the best melodies ever. Of course I'm sure you meant the re-take, not the actual music. I occasionally find myself listening and making a value j...

Nice show Chris.

I especially like the commentator. :P

Thanks again for all the great work this year. For us "foreigners" you and the Barmy Army are a blessed gift to TD fans in the USA.

Wow - this is bad. I really feel guilty for having received my stuff before everyone here. I'm in the US and it seems impossible. Next time I'll poll for pre-orders and send them air post for you guys. I certainly hope all here get their packages before the new year. A supremely sad state of affairs...

I usually am one of those crappy little purists when it comes to remakes, but the Logos and Tangram cuts are superb. I actually prefer them to the originals in a lot of ways.

My One Times One and Booster came yesterday. I'm in Texas. Holy cow, the OTO is exceptional. Very nice. I spent the afternoon on my back in bed due to a pulled muscle from work. It turned out to be a good opportunity to enjoy the CD uninterrupted and in isolation. A beautiful collection. Thanks Edga...

Man, it is everything I can do to hold back from hitting the "BUY" button on this download. I bought the DVD and have to wait for airmail to the USA.
I want instant gratification but I have the little grandkids to consider for Christmas. Hey, I know.. get them all one each!

Micheal Hoenig---------Departure From The Northern Wasteland 8) :D Here here! One of the all time classics of the hip-hugger, big hair and platform shoes generation and one that never really got any significant recognition in the USA. (Not surprising) "Hanging Garden Transfer" is a song t...
