In a word-by-word translation yes, but its meaning is more like "spirit of the age", the general feel of living in present and past times.

There must be some automatism at work there. No way the clowns from Sony Music sit there all day and compare each uploaded clip with their catalogue of titles... Just my guess but could be it stays online if you deliberately spell the title wrong...

The first thing I thought of when I heard of the EP title "Zeitgeist" was the Internet movie of the same name that's making the rounds (it's on Youtube or Google video for sure). Maybe the two are related? The movie's topics should be on Edgar's thematic wavelength.

although I think the mastering such that it is, is from the CDs.... I have a tiny bit of hope Simon Heyworth back in 1995 did his remastering in a higher quality format than what ended up on the Definitive Edition CDs. Linked to that it'd be interesting to know what the Rubycon SACD is sourced from...
