no point in commenting. If one doesn't tow the line, it gets removed by moderators... bye Rick x If there'd be a moderator online at the moment, he/she/it would have already cleaned up all the "Announcement" and "Sticky" threads I suppose. What you probably encounter is the auto...

A 4 LP boxset and an Encore-style foldout cover would do for me... ;)

Re: Royal Albert Hall, April Fool's Day?

I liked the Zeit cellos and piano whipping act, -an amusing statement with a serious message; For the people who weren't there and because of that have no chance to see it in context: After the show, did people agree on what could have been the message of Edgar whipping a piano? Something like him ...

NAVEL OF LIGHT wrote:a great film is Zeitgeist, i have a copy. Very thought provoking!

Doesnt Zeitgeist translate as Ghosts Of Time of Time Ghosts?
In a word-by-word translation yes, but its meaning is more like "spirit of the age", the general feel of living in present and past times.

Would have been too expensive for me too... it's all in all roughly the budget for 1 year of buying LPs & CDs. Although I've never been to London... well someday. :)

There must be some automatism at work there. No way the clowns from Sony Music sit there all day and compare each uploaded clip with their catalogue of titles... Just my guess but could be it stays online if you deliberately spell the title wrong... :D

The first thing I thought of when I heard of the EP title "Zeitgeist" was the Internet movie of the same name that's making the rounds (it's on Youtube or Google video for sure). Maybe the two are related? The movie's topics should be on Edgar's thematic wavelength.

although I think the mastering such that it is, is from the CDs.... I have a tiny bit of hope Simon Heyworth back in 1995 did his remastering in a higher quality format than what ended up on the Definitive Edition CDs. Linked to that it'd be interesting to know what the Rubycon SACD is sourced from...

Any chance for a comparison between the vinyls and the Definitive Edition remastered CDs?
