Hi,

Once I get a reply on the book, even on Social Security, I hope to make a donation for this.

Re: Your comments after having read Edgar's book!

Hi,

Sadly, as of Jan 24th, 2018 I have not received the book. Purchased it on March 2015 (as far as I can tell!) .... I would love to make comments, but can't.

Re: Klaus Schulze

Hi,

I'm ready ...

I do wish they would put together the Contemporary Works Vol 1 and 2 again, for more people to purchase ... there are some unbelievable great things in there that I have heard on the tube, and they should be distributed properly ...

Re: Edgar and TD - the Force Majeure autobiography

Hi, I'm already starting to think that someone ought to put together all the interviews from various places and publish it as a book ... there are some really far out bits and pieces in many of those ... and I have loved reading them over the years, even though Edgar was, on occasion, being somewhat...

Re: Anyone else still waiting for the book?

... Just try re-reading what you wrote about the current band members in your original post. Your fan attitude bores me. I find the new music, too slick and clean electronics, as if it was not about the music itself, but the electronics and its slickness ... and for some reason or other, it did not...

Re: Anyone else still waiting for the book?

... Just try re-reading what you wrote about the current band members in your original post. I should be allowed to feel what I feel. The new stuff is too slick and polished to be original and interesting. As I said before, it felt to me that the music was in a hurry to get to a song context ... an...

Nope. But I certainly would be more respectful of people's feelings ... try doing that to your children so you can see where it will get you in the future!

Good luck!

Re: R.I.P. Keith Emerson

Hi, It wasn't until after he passed away that I heard Rachel Flowers ... and the thing that stuck with me the most was her faithful interpretation of TARKUS on piano, or on organ by itself ... and all of a sudden, you can see the incredibly coherent and important composition of music that Keith put ...

Re: RIP Isao Tomita. Died At The Age Of 84

Hi, I remember when I first heard "Snowflakes are Dancing". It was not only beautiful, it was astounding and a really nice interpretation of Debussy, in a way, that most "classicists" could not even imagine. As time went by, it was pretty obvious that Isao Tomita, not only knew &...

Re: Anyone else still waiting for the book?

.... Bye bye then... Such a sad way to treat a fellow TD person that has enjoyed it all since 1971 ... in the end, you have no respect for those folks and their thoughts anyway ... simply because one is black the other one white, or green or blue. That's the definition of an art for you ... selfish...

Re: What do you think / wish: is this the end of TD?

(...)we should respect Edgar's entire philosphy by supporting the band now more than ever. Because this is a time when the whole philosophy will be tested like never before. And now is the time when the band needs us to be more open minded than ever before. I think you're right : we need to stay ca...

Re: Ashra

Hi, Been listening and loving Ash Ra Tempel/Ashra since 1973 or so ... and this has always been a special part of my life in listening to music. And a year later or so, it became one of the mainstays, in Guy Guden's Space Pirate Radio show, for many years, along side of Klaus, Edgar, TD, PV, AD2 and...
