In my opinion Johannes' musical interpretation wins by a nose. However this is supposed to be the 'lager top instalment' of TD Plays TD. Just wait to we get to the 'real ale" section!!!.............................(pint of Goff's Tournament would do nicely!) cheers.

I still believe that CF is a good talent gone to waste. Some of his work on B5 is inspirational, whilst the new age stuff is pretty banal to say the least. Quite why he chose to perform the London Concert I don't know. was it a dig at Edgar and TD? Why are there not more studio albums and live gigs?...

Thorsten and the Korg Radias

I don't know how many fans have checked out the Radias on Korg's website. How the instrument fitted into the Tempodrome setup is a mystery. was it purely 'eye candy'? One interesting fact is that the Radias has a digital vocoder add on. Watching Thorsten singing along to Loved By The Sun, well, what...

Greetings Tangmaster,

I'm a little confused as to who is actually going to release this dvd. Is it Voiceprint, CDS, or someone else.?

Been through all the Madcaps stuff. Good old Edgar, nothing short of controversial will do. "You hear what you are" 'Nuff said.

From personal experience the TDI shop was always MUCH slower at turning around orders than Eastgate, I suspect it's simply a case of putting all of your eggs in one basket. I'm certainly very happy to do business with the Eastgate Team.

I don't think the vocals would work at all if sung in a normal voice. In the same way that using a jazz singer to recite Blake didn't really work on 'TYGER'. I guess it's a form of recital/singing with a hint of folk style thrown in for good measure.

It's interesting that, around twenty years ago TD released "Tyger" complete with added vocals, which, to this day, I am still uncomfortable with. Having listened to the MFD demo it immediately becomes apparent that TD are now sufficiently 'evolved' musically to again encompass a vocal pres...

If you really want to embrace Planet Earth, then, the Eden Project concert venue in darkest Cornwall might be worth consideration. One cannot deny it has a very 'unique' atmosphere.

The 1980/81 gigs were an interesting transitional phase, in TDs "techno-history". In those two years one could already see the evolution from modular synthesizers to more streamlined systems and the advent of MIDI which would alter the course of music composition forever. I shall never for...
