I swapped my Meade ETX 90 for a Meade Infinity 102mm refractor a couple of months ago - very pleased with the performance of this budget telescope.
Great to see you posting again

Anyway, I will see him next week. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for this. I haven't heard the remix so maybe it was included. Enjoy the concert !

Re: Jean-Michel Jarre tour

Terrific concert by J-MJ at the Glasgow Hydro last Friday. Stunning quality of sound, energetic performance from the 68 year old and a good mix of old and new stuff. Only disappointment for me was the absence of Zero G from the set list, but maybe he will include this for the gigs in Germany.

Re: PETER BAUMANN - MACHINES OF DESIRE

I recently purchased MOD about a month ago and gave it a listen or two and, sadly, I am not impressed. It's certainly something DIFFERENT, but I feel it is inferior to most of Peter's previous releases (with the exception of maybe REPEAT, REPEAT.....truly awful). I was expecting more melody, more F...

Re: PETER BAUMANN - MACHINES OF DESIRE

I never thought the day would come that I'd hold a new Peter Baumann album in my hands! And yet here it is, after something like 23 years. Having listened 5 or 6 times now, I think it's fair to say it's not quite up to the variety, beauty and quality of ROMANCE or NIGHTS, but it knocks the spots of...

Re: Loom - Years In Music (2cd) Live at UFA Fabrik

:) I like Loom but I would much rather see Mr Schmoelling produce another solo album as his previous releases were fantastic and so original and I miss that kind of output from him. Yes, you can often hear the Schmoelling sounds in Loom but it is not the same as the man doing his thing on his own. ...

Peter Baumann interview and reviews

Prog 68 magazine has an excellent interview with Peter Baumann, covering the TD years with insights into his solo career. He is quoted that he has barely scratched the surface with his return to the recording studio. Also good reviews of Trans Harmonic Nights and Romance 76, with Romance in particul...

Re: PETER BAUMANN - Solo CD re-issues

Buy both....you won't regret it! They hold up extremely well, despite being over 30 years old. BICENTENNIAL PRESENT from ROMANCE '76 is simply a classic electronic piece. CHASING THE DREAM from TRANS HARMONIC NIGHTS is one of the greatest sequencer tracks ever made. Only Steve Roach's ARRIVAL (from...

New release with 7 minutes of unreleased music and new liner notes!
Cheers Jon.

I've always like this soundtrack, in particular "Dancing on a White Moon".

I've never seen JMJ live before and I've booked Friday 14th October at the Hydro, Glasgow. Here's hoping for Zero G in a glorious live setting !

Re: Baumann has left TD

This sounds as if it could have come from Transharmonic Nights or even Romance 76 - and I don't mean that is a negative way ! Very, very promising. Thanks for posting T4N63R1NE DR34M.
