Just for fun, here are some notes on recognisable (to me) source material for DM5. It's probable I've missed some references here and there. Of course these are not just straightforward remixes, but new tracks (excluding track 9) with old TD music worked in to greater or lesser degrees. 1. The Retur...

"Shipping will start on 15th March." That's hardly a big delay...

I too would rather have new music. Shiver Me Timbers and The Speed of Snow EP were both superb. Still, looking forward to DM5. I pre-ordered my copy from CDS in Scotland.

I would much rather see a soundtrack CD, remastered (not remixed or rerecorded) from the original master tapes.

My all-time favourite JS album is "The Zoo of Tranquillity" (the original Theta version, NOT the remix!). I think those first three albums were superb and, a somewhat hard act to follow, so I kind of know where you are coming from. Subsequent albums have all had their highlights, but perha...

I do look forward to Dream Mixes 5 (I've ordered my copy from CDS), although I was not keen on the last two entries in the series. My favourites remain the first two Dream Mixes albums..."Rough Embrace", "Pixel Pirates", "Mobocaster" and so on, these are the tracks for ...

No problem. To reiterate, 0:31 is where the distortion is most obvious. Otherwise, a beautiful and stunning album!

Just listened again to "Stigma". The distortion is first at 0:09 but is most noticeable at 0:31 and again (not as bad) at 1:06. I do think the haunting familiarity (to my ears) of the piano on "Monochrome" is down to a similarity, at the very least, with an old TD melody. I suspe...

Thank you, timer. :) Good to see that so many people appreciate "A Thousand Times". Actually I wonder if anyone here can help me identify the source of the piano refrain on "Monochrome". I recognise the sequencer line as being from the opening part of Tangram, but trying to work ...

I also love this album. My favourite pieces are "Monochrome", "Abacus", "Funeral Tears", and "A Thousand Times (reprise)". Just one criticism, however. The track "Stigma" suffers from some distortion in places due to a mastering fault (amazed nobody ...
