DVD: Too dark throughout the concert. No sense of the audience or the mood. Lost opportunity in a way. Especially regarding the nice surroundings.
CD: Excellent in every way. Love it!

Record Store Day 2019
Anyone got any of the three Record Store Day releases today?
I got Le Parc (yellow vinyl). Did not find Poland (clear vinyl) in the shops I visited. And Machu Picchu is in order (but it was great to se that it was also available in the shops here today).

Well, it may have got lost in the mail somewhere. I never had any problems with Eastgate. But answering e-mails should be done. Good you got a copy after all. Maybe you'll end up having two.

Re: Live At Augusta Raurica, 8/9/2016 DVD
Been listening through the CDs (saving the DVD for the right moment). Great recording, and a very nice package overall. Great to finally have this concert documented. I did not understand beforehand that the two DVDs are probably the same. Just different formats (I did not know that they still produ...

Re: Schiller - Morgenstund feat. TD?
Wow! The 30+ minute piece Morgenstern from the album Morgenstund is amazing. Schiller/TD in great form. Been listening to it on repeat here from Spotify. Just ordered the 2-CD/2-Bluray version of the album from Amazon to get the complete composition.

Re: R.I.P. Mark Hollis
Sad loss. Now listening to his minimalistic, and only solo album. Suitable today. Such beauty. Talk Talk was an important band, and I have listened to them for 20 years without getting tired of them. The songs are so inventive, and well produced.

Re: Tangerine Dream at Night of the Prog Festival 2019!
Nick Mason and Steve Hillage too. Nice... Yes, it will be fantastic to see Nick Mason bring this concept to Night of the Prog. He has got great reviews for this tour! And IQ and Anathema, which are also favourites of mine. And other great bands as well (more tba). Strange thing about this forum tho...

Re: STEVE ROACH News
I believe TD got several nominations in the early 90s, for stuff like Rockoon and some of the Miramar titles. Yes, there is a box called The Grammy Nominated Albums (I have it, still sealed), which features five albums. In addition I think they got a Grammy nomination for the Live in America video ...

Tangerine Dream at Night of the Prog Festival 2019!
Yes! :D I am ready! So great to have TD back at this fantastic festival. I have been there many times, and this year is no exception. https://www.nightoftheprogfestival.com/en/home-2/ We are thrilled that TANGERINE DREAM will be part of the Night Of The Prog Experience 2019 and be prepared to hear a...

Schiller - Morgenstund feat. TD?
I found this on the The Zest website: "MARCH: Morgenstern by Schiller released - features 10 tracks with Tangerine Dream (Thorsten Quaeschning)." Link: http://thezest-2010.blogspot.com/2019/02/news-update-winterspring-2019.html I cannot find any info on this. Does he mean Morgenstund (not ...

Re: STEVE ROACH News
https://steveroach.com/Images/Misc/momgrammy2.png Steve Roach had his second Grammy nominee this year. He told it was like the lightning struck twice! He did not win this year either, but two nominees ain't bad! And it is well deserved! I have no idea how one gets nominated for a Grammy, and how th...

Re: Concerts
Will see Nils Frahm here in Oslo tonight. My first concert with him. He came as a surprise to me last year. Never heard of him before, and he sells out big concert halls. And he should also be of interest to TD (and more ambient) fans. Beautiful electro/acoustic music. Any of you heard him? Recommen...

Re: Pledge campaign: Coventry Cathedral Live DVD deluxe box
OK, let's hope Burning Shed (which is a great web store) will know this. I am planning on buying the big box from Steven Wilson anyway. Strange thing is that Burning Shed is the official shop for Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, as well as a lot of other prog and electronica related music. So it seems ...
