I saw this yesterday on eBay and immediately dismissed it.
It's a shame that those who are not "in the know" with TDs body of work could fall for a scam like this.
It angers me and I wish I could do something about it.

Re: The News About Edgar
It's been just over two weeks since Edgar's passing and I have not been able to bring myself to listen to any TD or EF music. In fact, I haven't listened to ANY music at all and anyone who knows me knows that that practically NEVER happens. I don't know why or what I'm afraid of. I got a chance to s...

Re: Comments from Edgar's friends and colleagues
It's been a week since the passing of our beloved friend and musical hero. We have heard from many of his band bates, both past and present as well as his musical contemporaries and fans from around the world, but NOTHING from Chris Franke; not a word.

Re: What do you think / wish: is this the end of TD?
There is no Tangerine Dream without Edgar (IMHO). Please do not allow anyone to continue on with the band. It would be a tremendous injustice and would only sound forced and artificial (again, just my humble opinion). With that being said, I would love for any near-completed or mostly-completed proj...

Re: The News About Edgar
NO! NO! NO!
I am incredibly saddened. I just received the news and I am at my desk in my office CRYING!
Edgar and TD have been a part of my life since my teenage years. Tangerine Dream has been the soundtrack to my LIFE. It is part of WHO I AM!
A part of ME has died with him!
I am DEVASTATED!

Re: Booster VII - the final Booster...
Whenever TD releases a live album or a compilation (like the Booster series), I find myself weeding through all of the tracks and only downloading the ones I don't already have (I don't buy physical CDs anymore - I have too many already!). The NEW songs that pop up on the Boosters are a given, but I...

Re: Favourite Edgar Froese guitar solo
I've gotta give props to Edgar on "Cloudburst Flight". Simply awe-inpspiring. It made my jaw drop when I first heard it and it still does. Also love "Atomium" from the Tree project, volume 26, Brussels, 1980. It is obviously improvised, but it is so RAW and LOUD and IN YOUR FACE....

Re: Mala Kunia
I have to agree with you, Steve C. I find that TD's output from the 70s and 80s to be superior to anything else done after that. I still find those "gold nuggets" in releases from the 90s and beyond, but they don't seem to be as plentiful as in the earlier years (IMO). For example, from Th...

Re: Mala Kunia
Sorcerer, "Island of the Fay" gave us the track "Breath Kissing Matter's Mouth". PURE GOLD. The song starts off dark and mysterious and then builds in pace and rhythm and climaxes in an incredible blend of sounds. It makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck every time I hea...

Re: Mala Kunia
It would seem that opinions are polarized on Mala Kunia. Here's my two cents worth: For me, personally, it seems that I weed through each release to find the "gold nuggets"; the tracks that move me and are powerfully evocative. It may be just one track. Sometimes two. Sometimes NONE. I sti...
