I'd see the show if it was either new, unreleased music, or if TD were performing as part of the show. But if it was merely ballet being performed to old material, I think I'd pass. The ballet clips in the Poland 83 video didn't really float my boat if I'm being honest.

Set 1 is superb...it's very clean and sparse sounding, but there's so many fine melodies and great sequencers, peaks and troughs, and light and shade, that it makes it a genuine 'journey' piece of music that seems far longer than it actually is. Two highlights for me.... The tranquil section that st...

It almost sounds like Duane Eddy early on, but it's quickly become a live staple, and quite right too. This will sound great booming out at the RAH next April!! :D

Even when played 'seamlessly' in iTunes, you'll still hear the tiny gap because the gap (caused by silence) is actually part of the file.

Andy Pickford was at Nottingham 1997. Spoke to him briefly....I'm glad he's a better musician than a conversationlist!

It's much better to offer live concerts in a single long mp3. If they were divided into separate tracks, this would result in tiny gaps either at the start or the end of the mp3 file, so when you string them together on a CD, you'll hear the gap as a click or a jump for a fraction of a second at the...

Forget that it's a soundtrack (or Score to use the right term :D ) and this is a brilliant album in its own right.

Awesome live album, but it still sounds a bit light when compared to some of the darker stuff they did live a year earlier. Encore needs to be played loud in the dark!! :D

Always Main Title off Sorcerer for me....absolutely terrifying! But you're spot on Colin, a lot of The Keep does have a very dark, brooding atmosphere...very unsettling stuff

If I had to choose it'd be CDs because it's the music that really matters to me. The DVDs are great of course, but because the stage set doesn't change too much from one DVD to the next, I find them a little repetitive visually. But to be honest, I never thought I'd see the day when we had so much c...

This album always gives me very strong memories of driving home through the small hours after having seen TD several times on the 1990 tour. Whenever I hear certain tracks on it, all I can picture are motorways at night and dark A-roads stretching over the pennines! We must have been playing the alb...
