Kind of a long drive from Beverly Hills to Irvine, particularly with LA traffic. Maybe they make house calls?

Edgar's guitar tracks are all great, but I'm really hoping for live versions. For me, Edgar getting up from his keyboard and strapping on his guitar is always a highlight of any show. He is superb live. My favorite guitar players are David Gilmour, Robert Fripp, and Edgar Froese. But if you told me ...

Oh, one other thing in case you aren't aware. Michael Berling has a web site called Voices in the Net. It is filled with TD info such as albums, concert dates and whether fan tapes exist, etc. It is a treasure trove of reliable information for TD fans.

Poland, Underwater Sunlight, Live Miles, all of the Five Automic Seasons, but particularly Summer in Nagasaki and Autumn in Hiroshima. If you get the latest live releases you will have a very good idea of the current state of the Dream. Also, check out Loom, the band that includes Edgar's son Jerome...

How on earth did this become a Pink Floyd discussion?? The forum is called TD on recorded music... I believe that based on the recent lack of posting in this forum, ant posted a new thread in which he asked "Is there anybody out there?" which many of us picked up as an allusion to Pink Fl...

On February 7, 1980 I saw Pink Floyd perform The Wall at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. It was an enormous show, filled with explosions, spectacular lighting, giant character shaped balloons, animated films shown in triptych, and of course very loud and well played rock music. No matter what you thin...

The wall is pink floyds worst album. That is a fact. You can debate this with me anytime you like.
Worse than "The Final Cut"?

I think that Tangerine Dream music scored to short films of Oskar Fischinger would be an interesting combination.

Never been on a cruise ship, only a ferry across the channel - was ill most of the journey, so probably not a good idea to go on this even if i could afford it  Cruise ships are enormous. Saw one just off Grenada a year or two back that was so big it had it's own weather system. I kid you not,...

I liked everything about the Club Nokia show except for the intrusive and uncalled for security screening. It wasn't as if it was some hip-hop concert with rival gangs in attendance, after all. I mean, the analog-digital wars are over, aren't they? Well, ok, sure I was tempted to pop one of those Fr...

It's true that Saratoga was very far from being full, but I would say that 100 is a very low estimate of the crowd size. I think that 500-600 is probably more accurate. I also think that most people were surprised by the on-time start of the show. Most people expect rock shows to start at least 20 m...

The final show for the USA tour was at the Mountain Winery in the town of Saratoga, which is just outside the city of San Jose, about 35 miles south of San Francisco. The Mountain Winery is a beautiful venue with spectacular views of the Bay Area. I've seen TD numerous times since 1977 but this was ...
