Very good track. There's some great Syd Barrett like guitar.

The slide guitar bit could have come straight off of See Emily Play.

Maybe the makers of the next James Bond movie should ask Edgar to contribute. (Hey, it worked for Paul McCartney and Wings.)

I always thought that Times Square was very James Bond-ish. It would have made a great theme tune.

ant wrote::D Only played it twice so far but sounds good. The first four tracks appeal to me more probably because they have excellent guitar work on them by Edgar and there are certainly references to others works in them ..... Tracks 5 & 6 are taking a little longer to get into, for me anyway, but are still good tracks. :)
Managed to get my hands on One Times One this week (its been a hellova week for me for buying TD stuff) and the above sums up my initial impressions perfectly.

I do enjoy the instrumental versions of vocal tracks (Loved by the Sun with Jon Anderson is superb and the original Man is excellent) mainly because the're damn fine pieces of music and not because of they contain vocals.

However the 2 stand out tracks for me so far are Sadness Of Echnaton Losing The World Child and Modesty of Greed (reworking of Vermillion Sands/Cool Breeze of Brighton) which brings back vivid memories of the Sheffield City Hall and Bradford St' Georges Hall gigs on the '86 tour
You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink...but if you get it to float's on it's back then you've got something...
