You're lucky, mine are all a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy x 100

I remember when I used to play them years back my folks first of all thought I was watching a porno because the quality was so bad!!!

But a dedicated fan is a dedicated fan, right?

I know there are many many TV appearances/concert clips/studio promos doing the rounds for years, I think it would be great if some of these were put together, cleaned up, etc and released officially.

Maybe Poland '83 excerpts, White Eagle with Orchestra '82, the various '88 concert clips around, Athens '83 and my personal favourite, a 1989 TD TV performance of 'Sungate' with Edgar, Paul and Ralph which I have on video, the picture quality is only fair but would be excellent on DVD.

If only............

Excellent idea HP7

Good quality snippets of these shows would go down a storm IMHO.....mind you i do have an excellent quality Poland DVD
There were a few clips like these on the old web-site and more on this new one. A few of those collected together and put on a DVD would be great. I'm personally not too fussed about HD quality, I've been watching a lot of old stuff on YouTube and although generally the quality is pants it's great viewing.

It would be nice to have a collection of these old clips. As long as they were sympathetically edited and the sound quality reasonable, I'd be happy.

I don't mean to sound morbid, but my guess is that when EF is dead, Jerome will release much more of the old stuff as a means of income, hopefully without tampering with it.

In which case I'm happy to wait a long time for it's release.

Don't worry Edgar.............You've got loads of years left, look at the Rolling Stones and the lifestyle they lead.

I think this is a subject best left alone.

The Old 8mm clips in the 220 volt live video was excellent i wouldn't mind a DVD like that set to music.

It's a shame that the TV broadcast in East Germany in the 1980's is not available for dvd transfer now that would be great.

A short time ago I heard of some one getting hold of the Footage from the East Berlin 1980 gigs direct from the TV station, but alas no news since!.
Shame as ive seen some good direct from master material for both C Cath 75 & Poland 83.

:D I just want more TD on DVD. I don't care what concerts as long as they are reasonable quality with good sound. Tempo & Inferno have fuelled my desire for more, more, more!! As the song went - "I Just Can't Get Enough".

Please, Please Edgar - I need my TD Fix!
