I am a 70s Dream man.

However the quality of all this new stuff I have downloaded and purchased on here has really blown me away.

Stunning.

PS Need to hear Jeanne D'arc urgently :!:

I thought the band were quite genuinely going into decline around the 1993-95 period (some very mediocre music, not many releases, no tours). But things have steadily picked up over the last 10 years, and now, in 2007-8, TD are on a creative high again with some storming CDs and a couple of fine concerts each year.

Although 2007 was a fantastic year for TD output and great gigs, I find it difficult to agree that it was the best TD year so far, apart from meeting and forming so many new TD fan friends in the process 8) .

We all have our favourite era's in the history of this wonderfull band, whether it be for the music or for a special concert attended. I think EF is at present and has been for the last few years at another pinnacle in his composing, gelled with a collection of musicians of outstanding quality, as he has in the band at present. With JDA being for me a turning point for the better.

This is never to discount any of the former TD members , EF has the ability to get the best talent , and get the best out of that talent.

The Future's bright...
The Future's Tangerine !

Long live the Tangs. :)

Good post Tim..TD have had many vintage years..But..in the past theres usually been only one or two albums per year maximum. The haslinger era was for me a classic era and includes my all time fave TD album ..Underwater Sunlight'.

Actually, I though I had deliberately toned down and moderated my enthusiasm there

I have listened to JDA extremely frequently recently!

Some piece of music 8)
