Very true. So glad that EF had another go at this track rather than giving use Hyper Sphinx again. Never liked the original that much but this is awesome. There's some great sequencer work.

4 standout moments that make the old follicals buzz

1)the moment that the guitar kicks in on Nomads's Scale (East) - never fails
2)all of the ghostly and beautiful Sudden Revelation (Canyon Dreams)
3)the first 4.something mins of Hyperborea
4)11.02 AM - all of it

there are loads more.....

Another great moment for me:

About 3:06 into Madrigal Meridian when that heavy sequencer starts, later to be joined by KK's drums - HYPNOTIC :D

Silver Scale through to Horns of Doom with Johannes going full pelt on his Mini Moog as he did at the London Victoria Apollo 1980.

The polyrhythmic sequencer climax of Royal Albert Hall 1975 (Second Set).

The last few minutes of Unicorn Theme.

This condition doesn't only limit itself to TD tracks for me, pure TD sounds can also do it:

Exit to Heaven , at the start some fabulous early 80's sounds.

Cherokee Lane - the opening flanged white noise 8) 8) 8)

Got some alarming hairs growing out of my ears ...just one of the many pleasures of growing old.

Fortunately, because I am an Old Git, I couldn't care less.

For me it would have to be, well, many, but in particular, "Valley of the Sun" from disc 5 of the Dream Roots collection and "Dolphin dance" from the West Berlin celebration in '87 in Republic Sq. This part did not make it on Live Miles.

Also Mae's theme/Bus Station from the much overlooked "Near Dark" soundtrack, which is one of my personal faves.

Also, there are a few moments on the "Firestarter" soundtrack, although it would be nice to get a much better recording of it than the only one available(?) on the Verèsse Sarabande label, y'know?

Off the top of my head the ones that really stand out for me are:-

- the moment THAT classic sequence fades in towards the end of Force Majeure - absolutley stunning and never fails to get the follicles prickling including all the live versions.

- the whole of the encore section from the RAH 75 concert - possibly my favourite piece of sequencer based EM- absolutely blistering!.

- the sublime moment the guitars and keyboards melt into each other on Quichotte as mentioned above, &

- the pummeling sequncer and drum machine climax to the last track on Poland (forget the name).

Going to dig all these out now!
