It was VERY hard to choose.

My selections would be:

1. Rare Bird (from the Astoria dvd)
2. Climbing Mount Inasa
3. Mystery of Life And Death.

Interesting thread! I'm not as conversant with some of these releases as I'd like so will hold off compiling for a little while. :wink:

On the Marillion forum somone pointed out that their company - Racket - haven't released much this year. I joked saying that I was glad because Mr Froese has been in charge of my wallet this year. :lol:

My three picks:

1) Sleeping Watches Snoring in Silence

2) Climbing Mount Inasa

3) 11:02 a.m.

Although, I really must add Ayumi's Butterflies to the mix as well. I find myself playing these four tracks more than anything else these days.

I totally agree with your post - it is extremely difficult with the last two years of incredible music we have been so priviledged to hear.
