Eindhoven download

Post by Froesesque »

I have just tried to download the Tangerine Dream plays Edgar Froese concert, the whole lot and after over an hour it still hadn't downloaded it all on broardband.

The thing is my computer had downloaded 288mb and it just kept on going. How big is the file - this is just mental. Can anyone help???

The zip file is 409 MB. The reason why it's so big is because it contains the show in one file at 2½ hours and also divided into seven parts.

It has served me very well, as I've put the long file on my mp3 player, and added the seven parts onto a cdr in mp3 format.

Mmmmmmmmmm.............I was getting frustrated + I'm on crappy Aol, I'll just have to seperate the track drom the other 7 segments.

I just hope I can get it all before the 24 hours is up. I though there was some kind of error so cancelled the download - I wish I had downloaded Tangram 2008 now

That's impossible, you must wait for the zip file to finish downloading.

I meant when it was all downloaded, I'll have to wipe Kate Winslett off if I put the whole lot on my Mp3, it only has 512mb. I'll have to stop soon because Mum will want the computer soon to do her family tree. Ill get up early in the morning and have another go. Thanx for your help, guys! :D

My partner uses AOL on her PC and it is indeed not good. Even the toolbar and way it operates is very frustrating at times....

Always
Off
Line

I use Sky Broadband myself which is free.....

I didn't know the Eindhoven gig was split into parts when downloaded. I might consider buying the download myself now.....
Be at one with the sequencing.....

Downloaded this yesterday morning at approx 5:30 as soon as I discovered it was available (it only took 26mins - for me early morning is always best for big downloads like this), whacked it onto my mp3 player and enjoyed it thoroughly on the way to/from work.

Any chance of a download version of the Tempodrome and Astoria concerts?
You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink...but if you get it to float's on it's back then you've got something...

Took me a while to download, the best I got was about 120 bmps. Well worth the wait though as you get the full show and also the show chunked up into seven subsections. Very nice.....

....can't wait for the DVD.

The crowds a bit quiet though, they're obviously missing something.....

....oh yes it was me.

I think too that is my favorite dowloadable concert.
When I hear it, I remember this magic night.
Great tracks with very good bridges between the tracks.
Nice contribution of Linda during all the show.
and simply fantastic tracks of Edgar.
