...sigh... Once again, not a new format, just a manufacturing/material improvement. It's just clearer plastic. If your CD player has difficulty tracking through digital errors, then this might help. But it might be more cost effective to just get yourself a better player rather than buying your CDs all over again. This material will not improve sound quality. OTOH, if it were used for blank CDs, then it might reduce the likelihood of errors during burns...maybe.
