In fact, Yellowstone is a little fast...

It was definately TD?
Yep. Pretty sure. Thats how Ive heard of them.
What happened was this...I heard them on Sirius radio one day, that I got through my cable TV and I recorded the song...I played it over and over but never really looked to see the name. I DID see it was from TD

I looked at youtube but could not find it. Go to the Apple iTunes store. At the bottom of the main screen, select the UK store. Then type Tangerine Tyger in the search field. The album Tyger will appear. Click on the track Smile and you can hear 30 seconds of it. Sadly, the vocals wont start in 30 seconds. Not much but maybe it will help.

"London" from the album Tyger is about 14 minutes long, but it's often spoken and not sung... and the song is not really in "heavenly" style, but who knows ? :wink:
I really like this song...
A new cosmic address for the Master Dreamer...

Yeah, I would not describe London as heavenly. Its much more intense. A fine song.

Here are the lyrics to smile. Maybe this will jog your memory.

There is a smile of love,
And there is a smile of deceit;
And there is a smile of smiles
In which these two smiles meet.
And there is a frown of hate,
And there is a frown of disdain;
And there is a frown of frowns
Which you strive to forget in vain,
For it sticks in the heart's deep core,
And it sticks in the deep backbone;
And no smile that ever was smiled,
But only one smiles alone
That betwixt the cradle and grave
It only once smiled can be;
But when it once is smiled
There's no end to misery.

Go to Amazon.com and find it there. Much easier.

On a side note to this search for the song episode. Even if you cannot find it, you should dive into the world of Tangerine Dream. You will probably find a song you like better than the one you are searching for. I started off with TD like that nearly 20 years ago. I spent a few years looking for a track, and held off buying anything else until I found it. Eventually I gave up and bought a TD album and became a huge fan. Several years later I finally found the track I first heard about TD (love on a real train). By that time, I found a lot more TD tracks that I liked a whole lot better than that one.

Mary wrote:If I remember correctly, there was a woman or choir signing that sounded very angelic. The whole thing was enough to make your mind go off into another world. I used to listen to it to help me relax...and that it did. One of the best tunes Ive ever heard.
I believe the tune was about 10 -15 mins long
Couldn't it be something from the Dante (Inferno/Purgatorio/Paradiso) trilogy - anyone :idea: :?: :arrow:
