Best of The Dream Mixes

Post by epsilon75 »

If you were to compile a "Best Of" Dream Mixes from Volumes 3 and 4 what tracks would you choose? Here are my choices

1,Primetime
2,Stereolight
3,Diamonds And Dust
4,The Comfort Zone
5,World Of The Day
6,Perplex Parts
7,Floating Higher
8,From Kiev With Love
9,Meta Morph Magic
10,BONUS TRACK

Maybe DM 2.2
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

DM4 is a great album anyway. But I like Mobocaster and Timesquare of DM2. I will have to give 1 and 3 another listen as its been a while and then do my pick.

For me DM4 is in a league of it's own amongst the Dream Mixes albums, so sorry Colin, can't manage to do this

Shall this become a track list for Music for Sports?

No compilations of remixes and no bonus tracks please.

If there must be compilations and if somebody would ask me, I prefer compilations like Booster with previously on CD unreleased tracks (Year of the Monkey, Cloud Face, The Golden Head ...), compilations of bonus tracks or of the otherwise not released new tracks of the AH 1-4 volumes.

On the inside of DM 2.1 jerome hinted at Dream Mixes 4.2....and on the inside of Vintage Vanguard, on the notes to D.I.T.S. he mentions it is what DM 5 would sound like. With Jeromes love of the dream mix style work and his hint at some 'projects' he discused with Edgar, i think we havent seen the last of the Dream Mixes series. . . . But then, im only speculating. ;-)
