Rubycon nothing to do with the Keep

A short piece of 'Rubycon' can be heard in the film: in the scene where they found that "evil had been spread on the village" in the background, the spooky choir part from the side 2 of 'Rubycon' can be heard: it's the part just before the sequencers came in.
There are many pieces from Logos and also, what is known as 'Moorland' (form ''Miriam -Tatort" single) can be heard.
I think that TD had a hand in the audio effects of the film, apart the soundtrack, but maybe that's a theory of mine

Interesting analysis. You've given me a good excuse to view this film again soon--like I need one.

On a side note, I know fans of the book's author hate the movie, and although I recently read the book (it's quite good) and sympathize with those fans, I still love the movie. Its biggest fault lies in the fact that it's often confusing due to the drastic cuts demanded by the studio. Oh, for a director's cut!

from memory TD were often asked to do sound effects, probably before they knew what would fit within the frequency range of their music

I don't own the official TDI versions but have the Orange pirate edition. It's not too hard to find and although the extra tracks are available on other TD albums it's one way to get a CD copy without bursting the bank. I passed on the 97 TDI edition at the glasgow show in 97. I bought Ambient Monkeys instead  ..anyone want to swap.

if anyone has a 'genuine' vinyl copy of the keep, BM will pay $1000, as I have mislaid my one.

The thing was I was outbid but...the seller gave me a second chance as the winner had dodgy feedback. I pondered for a while as to whether to go ahead and buy the CD. I suppose in comparison as to what some copies sell for I did get a good price. :D
