Why? A handful of sax-tracks during 20 years of music? Why should that be a problem?

And, people here seem to think of "jazz" when they hear the sax. I don't think of jazz at all when TD play their sax. It's still TD-music, with the sax incorporated.
it`s a bit too Kenny G for me, whenever I play TD with sax in it my wife is always quite surprised and enjoys it which isn`t really a good endorsement with someone with her tastes.

TD are to Jazz what Brian Eno is to Death Metal...if you're hearing Jazz you need to buy more Jazz...which is (IMHO) always a good idea ;)

the use of the saxophone in rockmusic is well known, bands such as Roxy Music, X ray Spex, Wizzard, The Stooges and other rilly good groups have utilised the sax to good effect, TD as far as me is concerned use non synthesised/mellotron wind instrumentation for effect and colour and staging in a live setting. If any TD fan finds the use of a sax or clarinet or other instrument that ones sucks and blows abhorrent to the history of electronica, BM suggests they listen to a tribute band that doesnt :D :D :D ...of course I would prefer everything TD produce will sound like just like it did in 1975, but it aint 1975 or even 2009 .....so get over it BM

NOW TROLL THAT

I truly love the sax on Rockoon. The sax on Red Roadster blows me away everytime. I would have loved more sax on Rockoon.

There's a clip of TD in the studio (around the time of Mars Polaris) on the TDOC site and the camera briefly pans across the equipment to show a Theremin. Don't know if they've ever used it but it was there.
