Post by multivit72 »

In some shops I see "One Night in Space" and "The London Eye concerts" announced als Blu-Ray Discs to come out some time in June.
Has this been offically confirmed somewhere?

I hope, upcoming TD concerts will be released on Blu-Ray from the start, featuring DTS-HD - so much better than the lossy dolby format they have been using so far..

I have one, but itall depends on what sound they put beneath the pictures.
By the way, from TDeye I understood this weekend thatthe discs are already on the market.

No, announced release date is June 10th. Pre-ordering is already possible in some online shops (e.g.: http://www.membran-online.de).
The question is weither the material will be Blu-ray quality. :?:

:) I have just taken a chance and ordered the London Eye Blu Ray from JPC.de at Euro's 19.99 plus postage of Euro's 5.99. If it is of reasonable quality then I may go for the One Night In Space too. We shall see I guess.

:) Decided to order One Night In Space too. They both appear to have been processed today so hopefully I will receive them some time next week and I will then let you know how good the quality is. I just couldn't resist getting them on Blu Ray regardless!! :D

:) The London Eye Blu Ray has arrived this morning so I will watch it tonight. As I expected though, this Blu Ray release does not include the bonus LA gig. Sound choices are 5.1 or 2.0 Stereo. Does not say what ratio it is but would assume it is the same as the DVD release. Anyway, will let you know what the picture quality is like tomorrow. Am awaiting One Night In Space still but that should arrive in a day or so. :)

Wonder if that's because the LA concert was maybe not filmed with HD cameras ?
