Perhaps I missed something, or perhaps is not really Edgar.
Thanks for the answers.

Also listed on itunes uk.

Just checked out the sample there. Seems to be some sort of Dance/Dub remix of Led Zeps kashmir. Certainly sounds a bit like Edgars guitar style.

Its not bad actually

Just listened to it....

....could easily be him. It's his very distinctive guitar style. If it ain't him it's a very good impersonation.

Have to say that I really like this version of Kashmir. Great solo by the Maestro.

So what is Dubstep?

No idea how that makes it any different from other forms of dance music...

well i fail to understand the comparisons to dance music. from what i can tell, it's usually obnoxious wobble-sh!t (which i'm sure has dance offshoots in commercial music), or downtempo percussion washed in reverb (occasionally sounding like ambient techno).

now "dub" without the -step suffix can be something entirely different. that's maybe borderline dance music, but the beat is so softened and tranquil, i can't imagine it being raved to. it's too calm

that kashmir remix definitely has the dubstep time signature. whatever it is.

Hmmm

....and there's that name again. John Peel.

Just coincidence? I think not.

Apparently this track is coming out on an album called Psychedelic Dubstep by Space Temple. It's not due to be released until February 2012 on Cleopatra Records. I'll be wanting a copy for sure.

Many thanks to Neil Price (Jollyhawker) for the information.
