Just recorded a TD collection...

Post by Jon »

I just recorded a TD collection on a CDR for a colleague of mine. He's 60 years old and owns two TD vinyl albums, Rubycon and Poland. He was curious about how TD of today sounded, but I decided to record a compilation with stuff from all decades. This is the track list:

1. Movements Of A Visionary
2. Cloudburst Flight
3. Burning Bar
4. Exit
5. Yellowstone Park
6. Valley Of The Sun (excerpt)
7. Song Of The Whale Part 1
8. Long Island Sunset
9. Elf June And The Midnight Patrol
10. Lake Of Pontchartrain
11. Darkness Veiling The Night

Perhaps a bit on the mellow side, but a nice disc if I may so myself.

Comments?

Nice selection there. Hard to condense so much material when doing a disc like this. I recently did a similar disc for the forthcoming trip down to London for the TD Show. It ended up as the following...

1. Sadness of Echnaton Losing the World Child
2. La Piedra Inithuatana (Machu Picchu)
3. Booster Battery (Booster 5)
4. Angels on Transit
5. Astrophel and Stella
6. Song Of The Whale (Live) from Zeitgeist
7. Crystal Curfew
8. Adios a Cusco (Machu Picchu)
9. Forever Young (Undercover)
10. Mother of all Sources (Finnegan's Wake)
11. Challenger's Arrival (The Keep)
Look for the sounds of Digital Horizons at http://digitalhorizons.bandcamp.com/ and on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon Downloads and Reverbnation.

Nice. Quite a modern selection there. Song Of The Whale is a must, and I love Crystal Curfew too. Good to see a Keep selection too.

Of the other tracks I have only heard Astrophel And Stella.

Music from Finnegan's Wake + Vernal Rapture are imperatives
