One Night in Africa

Post by la sagesse du destin »

Excerpt of the News -Tangerine Dream July 2013
- ONE NIGHT IN AFRICA (Single CD) - Compilation of well-known tracks relating to Africa as well as very NEW tracks! A pearl of rhythmic atmospheric sounds among all compilations so far.....

Great News.

I think that Bells of Accra will be on this compilation, and perhaps the nice inedit track Digital Cypher (on TDOC section).

Suspense...

I've never been too fond of compilations, as most of the time they're the case where you get 8 or 10 old tracks (sometimes they get reworked) and only 1 or 2 that are actually new. Either way, I'd love to hear "Digital Cypher", as I'm not a member of the TDOC section and I've heard many good things about it.

Just realised Turn of the Tides has a vey large African sounding playout, if not all the track.

But it's still a highly mediocre track, IMO..

:) I see that the cover seems to have changed for this release now. Must say I prefer this new one to what was shown before!! :)

Have to admit I have reached compilation overload.

However I am very tempted with this one, especially with four new tracks and the mix of the others.

Order is brewing

PS Bring on the new TD studio album 8)

Actually will probably order this one. (OK then, will order this one ;) )

Not sure about the other one though - unless the tracks are re-recorded/remixed., it's a compilation you can make yourself....
