I've played this twice and it looks and sounds fantastic. The image is so sharp you can read the make of tyres on the trucks! although some have moaned about the colours being too vivid.
NB the Blu Ray is REGION FREE and will play on most BR drives, or BR players. I have tested this on my SAMSUNG laptop and SONY Blu Ray player and both can play the disc.
The only down side is there isn't a single extra on the disc - nothing. The 40 page book is solid, although it basically repeats the same story from FRIEDKIN's autobiography. Edgar and TD are mentioned on two pages in the book, but there's no photo of the band (nice stills from the movie though).
A WARNING: the DVD release was totally messed up (Bill only did the BR) and has been withdrawn. Friedkin will produce a new version from the same source as the BR - release date sometime in JUNE 2014.
