the problem with rubycon, is that its unreviewable, its always been so different and awesome that any reviewer approaching this recording is wasting their and our time, because its so alien and unusual, its perfect.*
it was perfect in 75 and its perfect now, why?.....because its locked in time as a classic.....like beethoven's 5th or something....created by genius
*nearly all td music is beyond review, how can one review music that is timeless?...all one needs to do is enjoy the music...or not....
Rubycon is such a great album, for me it's proof of life after death. It's just that after more than 25 years of listening to Rubycon, I still haven't figured out who or what it is that's going to continue to live...
