I work from home and need need more background music to listen to. Has anyone got any suggestions as I dont want to play TD to death !

I used to listen to a bit of Shulze up to about 1985 but haven't heard anything since. I bought some of the early Robert Shroeder stuff but I found it a bit weak musically. I also listened to some of the early Kitaro music but all his albums sounded the same to me.

Im looking for something new to listen to but please spare me Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis unless its as good as Heaven and Hell

I wait in anticipation of some good suggestions

Agreed Colin and I'd also recommend Rudy Adrian.

Try any of these. I was like you, used to listen to TD all day every day. Now I only listen to this stuff, pure genius! I'd recommend 'The Reason Why' and any of the 'Analog Overdose' stuff first.

Mario Schönwälder -
Close By My Distance
Solotrip
Hypnotic Beats
The Eye of the Chameleon

Mario Schönwälder and Detlef Keller -
The Reason Why - Live at Jodrell Bank
The Reason Why - Part 2
The Liquid Session
Sacral Tones
Concerts
Noir

Mario Schönwälder, Bas Broekhuis and Detlef Keller -
Project Inter.com
Space Cowboys
Drei
Wolfsburg
Eintrittskarte
Orange

Mario Schönwälder and Bas Broekhuis -
Spherical Bodies

Mario Schönwälder, Kistenmacher and Trostel -
Musique Intemporel

Mario Schönwälder and Thomas Fanger -
Analog Overdose 1
Analog Overdose 2
Analog Overdose 3
Analog Overdose 0.9
Analog Overdose Ricochet Dream

Mario Schönwälder and v/a -
Manikin Records 1992-2002

Thomas Fanger -
Parlez-vous Electronique

Thomas Fanger and Michael Kersten (Mindflux) -
Splashdown

Also try VoLt. They get a mixed reaction on the forum, but I rate them highly. Arc and Arcane (Paul Lawler) are also worth a listen. Check out the sound samples on the Groove website.
