On at least one it's a completely different mix with some extra layers and drumsepsilon75 wrote:Definitly a difference betwween these two releases,i would say the Eastgate release is of far superior sound quality, and we also get the bonus track24db wrote:got the same impression with the Store vs Eastgate's version of MFD as well matesparrow wrote: Very slight though Andy more noticeable on Headphones.
I saw that Fopp were selling Purgatorio aswell, John.... any idea if that one was the eastgate version or the TDI version?sparrow wrote:You mean MFD Jason..The voiceprint one me thinks.Desert_Voyager wrote:Is Fopp selling the eastgate version or the TDI one?

They were actually both on TDI and Fopp were selling the second edition and IMO slightly better sounding one .epsilon75 wrote:Its the TDI version JasonDesert_Voyager wrote:I saw that Fopp were selling Purgatorio aswell, John.... any idea if that one was the eastgate version or the TDI version?sparrow wrote: You mean MFD Jason..The voiceprint one me thinks.
That's good then, I'll get it from Fopp as it is the second edition.sparrow wrote:They were actually both on TDI and Fopp were selling the second edition and IMO slightly better sounding one .epsilon75 wrote:Its the TDI version JasonDesert_Voyager wrote: I saw that Fopp were selling Purgatorio aswell, John.... any idea if that one was the eastgate version or the TDI version?
I've got the RFH version and I also bought the other version from Fopp (well it was only £5). The RFH version, as far as I can tell, seems to have the vocals higher up in the mix and some of the instruments are more pronounced on the other version. I wouldn't recommend one over the other though, the differences aren't that great.epsilon75 wrote:Ive got the First RFH original which was signed by Jerome at the Merch Stall...........sounds fine to me but cant compere as i only have that one
I'm certainly not, but TD has become part of my monthly budget. TD is the reason I bought a computer, an internet connection, and that I sometimes come abroad... I wouldn't have visited Berlin or London without TD.epsilon75 wrote:JacobPertou wrote:There's only one way to found out.. I need to acquire both versions of Purgarorio and Madcap's Flaming Duty...
