I have to say, that while I consider the last boat load of TD releases to be OUTSTANDING, I'm not too crazy about the vocal samples they've been using (as heard on Bells, Springtime and a few others).

All IMHO.

they're from a sample CD, (the samples on Bells have been available for 15 years or more). BUT...nearly every professional musician has used them at one time or another, so I guess it's all about context and as you say whether you like them.

This is undoubtedly my favorite piece of music composed by Edgar along with Ayumi's Butterflies this decade............another kick in the backside for the "Phrophet's of Doom" IMHO....... Edgar is still making some wonderful music

I agree mate, it's fun to dissect sometimes, but if you go too far you'll end up like a kid with a toy in bits and have nothing to play with ... or something like that ;)

I agree with Andy who agrees with Chris.

Got to admit I'm warming to BOA, didn't like it at first but it's got some great, great moments.

Where are those vocal samples from? maybee some royalty free stuff or some of the excellent liscenced sample discs from Zero-g or AMG!

All in all there are some great melodies and ideas in there!!

:D
