[quote="24db"]did you know that Zeit was edited down from a far longer session and TD were so pleased with it that they only did a couple of overdubbings 'maximum'

Edgar Froese-"Essentially we were turning our backs on the music industry, and we thoroughly enjoyed doing so..."

from Edgar Froese: the Force Behind Tangerine Dream: the Complete Music Magazine.[/quote

One wonders whether the tape of the longer session of Zeit is stored somewhere because it would be great to get a copy of this! It's probably rotting away amongst the other tapes of the very early unreleased concerts. In my book;the time when TD were at their peak!

posterity requires a reason, history needs artifacts

but music is transient yet timeless and is not for archiving

but : tang music is outside the norm

thus I cannot revere the music as archaeology..... i must seek a new way to describe the uncanny music

bm leaves forum to go crack open a beer
