Well Folks I only managed 1 listen to Thorsten's CD over the weekend because on Saturday Jules (the Roadmeister) and myself went to the Elder Stubbs charity festival in Oxford to see Huw Lloyd-Langton (Hawkwind) and the Assassins of Silence. It was an excellent gig but it pissed down all day and we got rather wet!
I thought the CD was very good and very pleasant to listen to although it's not on the same level of excellence you get from TD! All-in-all it shows that Thorsten has what it takes and justifies his presence in the ranks of TD. There are some tracks that stand out above the rest - Night, Night, Night being one of them on initial impression, but I'm going to have to give it another listen to before I make further judgement! Stay tuned folks!
Even after 1 listen I can highly recommend that you buy this CD!
Neil.
PS
Yeah good title to the thread isn't it? It just popped into my head!
"Lives of great men all remind us that we may make our lives sublime and so departing leave behind us footprints in the sands of time"
