There have been a lot of positive comments re ONIS and I'm really looking forward to hearing it.

the title track is a real grower

The best intro ever!

A simple repeated sequence that drops down in pitch, with some (IMHO)
nasty slapped bass guitar...BUT...there is something about this track, it creates an almost trance like state in me, and I never want it to stop. It's the combination of the plodding rhythm (with every 8th beat with an effect on it), subtle sequencers and the pad type sounds. There's a really nice 'attack transcient'...ie something interesting within the first few milliseconds (that always grabs my attention). Things swap around and build and build, without really going anywhere...they exist....and the only answer is to play it again...and again.

I've no idea how Edgar does this, but I'm glad he knows :) I think he uses something similiar on SUIN

I'm intrigued, although I think I will agree with you re the "slapped bass"!

I'm certain this would make for very entertaining tv and you have a guaranteed viewer here. If you could only find a prime time slot to replace those sh*te "reality" shows!

Something about eating witchery grubs? no probs I thought we can blag that one, there's a KFC opposite! Oh, and don't forget the best bit about all this,,,,,,you and me will be first in line for tickets when TD announce their epic 2008 seven nighter tour at the Shepherd Bush Empire shortly! Stick with me Moogey you won't go wrong!!

the ep is as the others, superb snapshots of current edgar/tang music

i for one rate the current output at least as good as the eighties

Totally agree 6 euros is as you say "an effin bargain" for the EPs  if people are going to complain about that they must be tighter than Iris and Linda's trousers

Linda's were very tight !!!!

Definately agree, I have made a playlist on my ipod of all the EP`s and I play it even more then my Global Communication stuff .

Edgar is definately getting better with age, I really went off TD for a period in the 90s but TD is like a good wife, you might drift away and try other kinkier things but your always going to come back in the end.
