Downloading the Dream

Post by har »

Greetings all :D First Post!

As I first heard the Dream approx 1978 (Ricochet or Cyclone I think) I have always been one for being in possession of the actual vinyl 8) cassette or CD.

However, having just discovered this wonderful place, I have downloaded some Dream that I was not prepared to wait for and required instantly!

This being

Sleeping Watches (heard the title track on here first, total class!)
+
Spring

Have to say VERY impressed with the quality and simplicity of the process, although perhaps no so good for the plastic

Off to download Summer, just though i'd say hello.

In celebration of their anniversary, it will offer a very reasonable 40% APR!

Same result though, meltdown on the plastic.

Summer downloaded-imported to i tunes- and zapped onto the i pod :D

Looking forward to bedtime

Great to hear from you Har! Enjoy the new discoveries - there's been a rash of good releases recently :-)

Look forward to enthusing with you about them shortly.

A very warm welcome to you, Har! Always good to hear from fellow fans. Hope you like it here.

Edgar's creative jucies have apparently kicked into overdrive of late. Will be eager to hear your opinions/comments regarding his latest output.

Hello Har

welcome to the forum, best wishes to Scotland, can't wait to be back there again

andy

ps. the whole downloading section on the official site is painless to use, I've only ever had a problem with it once and Eastgate corrected the problem within 24 hours

Welcome har.

If you like Spring you're going to love Summer. You might want to try a few of the other more recent downloads as well. I can recommend Bells of Accra, One Night in Space and Orange Odyssey just for starters.

iTunes is an extraordinarily good DL tool, and prices are okay. I found a lot of solo albums by Steve Jolliffe in particular, I'd like to check out some day.
